Launch of the Sheila Rivera Foundation in Houston
On May 27, 2027, the Fundación Sheila Rivera officially celebrated its launch at the Emprendiendo con Pasión Business Center in Houston, Texas—a meaningful gathering dedicated to purpose, empowerment, and community protection.
The event brought together inspiring voices and leaders who shared powerful messages and impactful initiatives:
- Rachel Dawn — Survivor & Advocate, who offered a moving perspective on resilience and the importance of building safe, supportive spaces for those who have overcome trauma.
- Grecia Berrios — Speaker & Author of the book “Awaken: Rediscover Your Greatness”, who encouraged attendees to reclaim their voice, confidence, and personal mission.
- Lydia Lane — Special Agent, Homeland Security Investigations (Child Exploitation Group), who introduced the iGuardian project, raising awareness about online safety and the protection of children from exploitation.
- Sheila Rivera — Immigration Lawyer & Founder of the Sheila Rivera Foundation, who shared the heart behind the foundation and its commitment to serving and uplifting immigrant families and the broader community.
